BestViews’ content policy

Your contributions to BestViews are valuable and we encourage you to share your personal experiences with the BestViews community. The BestViews community provides various features for engaging with other users and sharing authentic feedback about places, accommodations, restaurants etc. – positive or negative. These Content Policy Guidelines help you use community features, including reviews, forums, photo-feed media submissions and user profile pages.To help us keep BestViews a safe and trustworthy source for information and advice, and to ensure your content is published as quickly as possible, please make sure your content is:


Respectful, Appropriate and Family Friendly: We value diverse opinions, so you may disagree with some content that you come across. Keep in mind that something that may be disagreeable to you may not violate our Guidelines. In order to maintain a welcoming environment for all users, your participation in the community must always be respectful of others. To maintain a safe, family-friendly community, we don’t allow profanity, vulgarity, threats, harassment, lewdness, hate speech, and other displays of bigotry.  We will not publish and will remove content that contains sexually explicit material or comments, prejudiced language, threats, personal insults, graphic descriptions of death, injuries or violent criminal acts. Any content that describes or depicts participation in or advocates for illegal activities will be removed. To publish any  content submitted by you, you must be 13 years or older.

Helpful and Relevant: The BestViews community is intended to provide helpful, relevant content to customers. Content you submit should be relevant and based on your own honest opinions and experience. Please make sure your contributions are helpful to the community and are also relevant and appropriate to the listing or forum to which it is posted. For example, reviews aren’t the place to complain about a business’s employment practices, political ideologies, extraordinary circumstances, or other matters that don’t address the core of the consumer experience and any content encouraging a boycott or smear campaign of a property will be removed. We do not allow content that promotes intolerance for individuals or groups of people based on their race, gender, religion, sexual preference, or nationality.

Promotional Content, Conflict of Interest and Demanding Payment: Your contributions should be unbiased and objective. For example, you shouldn’t write reviews of your own business or employer, your friends’ or relatives’ business, your peers or competitors businesses. Content offered in exchange for personal gain, such as gifts, services, or money and links or content solely included for promotional purposes will be removed. Beyond simply asking for a refund to remedy a bad experience, you should not use removing or posting your review as a way to extract payment from a business, regardless of whether you’ve been a customer.

Privacy and Intellectual Property: We respect your privacy and the privacy of the businesses we list. We want to know about your experience but please keep personal or exclusive information to yourself. Content containing personal financial information, including credit card numbers, or other financial information can be removed. This includes both the reviewer’s information and the information of others. Please do not disclose door codes or passwords of any kind. Please don’t post other people’s full names unless you’re referring to service providers who are commonly identified by or commonly share their own full names.  Please make sure your content is yours and any content copied or plagiarized from other websites, reviewers, property owners, emails, or other sources will be removed.

Reporting Abuse: If you feel that any content is in violation of our Content Policy, please report us the possible violations. If you would like to report content in reviews or forums, you could do so by clicking “Report” button present in each review or forum comment. If you would like to report photos or videos or content or comments in the photos or videos, you could do so by clicking on the “3 Dots”  icon present in each photo and video, this will open a pop-up box. In the pop-up box, click on the flag icon to open  “Report Message Box”.  In addition you could report us by contacting us by email at
