    One of the best photo-spots in Amsterdam to catch a narrow canal aligned perfectly with the tower of Zuiderkerk in the backdrop. It is also an unofficial love-lock bridge, though locals don’t like it and officials often remove them, lovers lock padlocks to the bridge.

    Most of the shops don’t sell flowers anymore. They mostly sell souvenirs and gifts but they make a good photo-spot especially from across the river.

    Top attraction

    One of the top attractions in AMsterdam. Unfortunately, the popular “I amsterdam” sign has been removed from the museum. However, the architecture of the building and the instagrammable library make it a popular photo-spot. Headcover to the library’s second floor to grab a selfie (no photos allowed in the first floor) .

    Popular photo-spot and most painted view of Amsterdam as well. Not only the view from the bridge, but the canal lane to the left of the bridge is popular as well. From the bridge, walk to the left side (when facing the Nicholas Church) of the canal towards the Nicholas Church. You will see another popular view – the view of old historical canal houses floating on the canal.

    Good location to capture Prinsengracht with Westerkerk. Just across the canal from Anne Frank Museum, walk a little bit away from Westerkerk (to the listed GPS) so as to caprture it in full along with the canal.
