Beautiful Lake
Small colorful alpine lake with Dolomites backdrop. There’s a parking lot near the lake.
Postcard View
Iconic view of the Val di Funes with Dolomite backdrop. Park in Santa Maddalena and walk up the small road uphill to the photo spot. Sunset is the best time.
Classic View
Classic viewpoint with amazing Dolomites as the backdrop. You can get a good picture from the road itself near the listed coordinates. Some parking is available on Via Geisler. Sunset is the best time for the pictures.
Incredible mountain views
Cable car runs from 9AM-5PM. If you need to be there before this time, it is a three hour hike from St. Christina in Val Gardena. Alternately, there are couple of small huts for rent to stay overnight.
Popular Lake in the Dolomites
Lake is very popular at all times. Road to it is packed with hour or so wait especially after 11AM. Please plan on coming early in the morning.
Iconic Hike
The loop is about 10 KM and easy to moderate. Hiking season typically runs from late May through early October. The car park goes through toll road which is open from 8AM to 5PM, however you can leave at any time.
Good Photospot
The small lake next to the hotel with the reflection of the Dolomites, offers a good photo opportunity.

park on the side of the road at the GPS coordinates, for best photos you may have to walk to the photo-spot (shown as photo-spot in the google maps). Spring is the best time for the green rolling hills.

Popular lane of cypress trees in front of the farmhouse. Sunrise is a popular time. Take a low angle picture from front to enhance the slope the road.
