   Unique mountain with waterfalls in the foreground. It is little out of the way from other popular attractions along the south coast but could be combined with other attractions in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula.

   Beautiful waterfalls, easily accessible from road. You can also go up the hill and over the waterfalls by taking the stairs on the right side. Parking is free.

   Beautiful Waterfalls

   Beautiful waterfalls where you can also walk behind the waterfalls. Don’t forget to wear waterproof shoes and a raincoat as you will get wet. There is another hidden waterfall near-by.

   Popular Stop

   One of the popular stops in Iceland. Before entering you need to take a shower. Don’t forget to put conditioner on your hair as the silica will make it super dry. Water is warm and beautiful in colour. Changing rooms are clean and tidy.

   Dramatic Place

   Dramatic place with surreal mountain cliffs and the black sand beach. Beach is windy but when there is water, makes for some very good pictures.

   Incredible Place

   Incredible place with a black beach filled with colourful icebergs of all sizes pushed to the shore from the glacier lagoon. Definitely worth driving to this place. It is an amazing experience.

   Amazing Place

   Amazing lagoon formed by the waters of the glacier. There are beautiful floating icebergs and seals in the lagoon. Surreal place.

   Popular Place

   Popular place with black sand beach, basalt columns, rocks coming out of the ocean and the caves. The waves are huge so please don’t go into the water as it could be dangerous. There’s a big parking lot with free parking.

   Nice Views of the Black Beach

   Incredible place with views of unending black beach. It’s quite windy and the waves are huge. Waves drilled a hole in the lava arch making an arch.

    Must Stop

    If you are visiting Snaefellnes, just stop over once you are approaching the church. It is a nice photo spot with long road leading to the church.
