Nice Trip
Nice trip from Amsterdam. Train ride is about 20 mins. Very beautiful with colourful houses and charming windmills. There are cafes, clog factory and cheese tasting place.
Nice Area
Nice area with shops and restaurants. Popular photo-spot of the colourful dancing houses on the waterfront.
Valley View
Amazing views of the Lauterbrunnen valley from Wengen. Wengen is a car free town. You can only get there by train. Train ride is short and definitely worth it. Also, you can ride further to Kleine Scheidegg for the up close views of the Alps.
Nice Experience
Gondola ride to First is a must do in Grindelwald. The ride is about half hour. The cliff walk is short but views are amazing.

It is little more than an hour drive from Lucerne. It is one of those places you see on Instagram but don’t know the name or place of it. Definitely worth the drive and check this off your travel list.
