    Lights and Action

    Incredible place with lots going on. People in costumes try to take pictures with you and asking for money, street performers, the lights, the crowd.. it is just an incredible place..

    Great Views

    One of the best places in the City to just relax and enjoy the view. Lots of green spaces for picnic. There’s a playground, dog park and restaurants. Visit the piers as well.

    Incredible Experience

    The whole experience is incredible and the views make it memorable. The trek is difficult, the viewpoint is at over 15000 feet. You need to get acclimatized to the high altitude. There are horses if you cannot hike which take you with in 200m from the viewpoint.

    Incredible place and it didn’t disappoint. No wonder it’s a bucket-list place for many. The architecture, scenery, history, everything about the place is incredible.

    Beautiful Plaza

    Plaza de Armas is the main tourist area in Cusco with couple of churches, lots of restaurants, souvenir shops, street performers and vendors. Many of the restaurants are geared towards tourists. Some of the attractions like 12 angle stone etc. are close-by as well.

    Historical Site

    Interesting historical site with a wall built by large rocks locked in place. From there you get panoramic views of the town below.

    Interesting Stop

    Interesting stop in Sacred Valley, Salt has been mined here since pre-incan times. There are about 5000 mining ponds. The salty water flows underground and channeled to the individual ponds.
    Getting there is little difficult,once you are there however it’s easy walk to get to the viewpoint.

    Popular Stop in Sacred Valley

    Pisac is another popular stop in sacred valley. There are rices terraces and ruins with a fortress at the top. You can either hike (around an hour to the top) or take a one way taxi to the back of the ruins.

    Must See in Sacred Valley

    One of the must see attractions in Sacred Valley. They have three temples, for Sun, Earth and Water. The steps are steep and you can see the town from the top. Go with a guide so that you appreciate the site.

    Okay Trip

    Palccoyo is about 3 hrs away from Cusco. Hike is easier compared to Vinicunca but this also is at high altitude (5000m). It is less crowded, go there if you are not going to Vinicunca.
