It’s a short street but extremely crowded and traffic is slow moving. Driving is fun but also walk the street from top to bottom (easier). Even though the street is popular for hairpin turns, it also has some beautiful houses with colorful flowers.

Walking the bridge is a bucket list for many, people from across the world visit it every day. You could also bike the bridge. There are Vista points with parking and restrooms on both sides of the bridge. Also, drive up to the Battery Spencer for the amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge from above.

It’s a popular wedding photoshoot spot and is beautiful with pond and roman columns. Parking is difficult to get and could be unsafe.
Lovely Views
It’s a clean beach with views of Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands. Be careful, it could get really windy and parking could be difficult to get especially during the weekends.

Lively and happening place with many restaurants. Take a stroll along the waterfront. Pier 7 is a popular photo-spot. Ferry Building has many gourmet shops and restaurants and piers offer Alcatraz and Bay cruises.

It’s a large park, so plan on spending at least a couple of hours. Popular attractions are Conservatory of Flowers, Stow Lake, de Young Museum, Botanical and Rose gardens.

The mosaic tiles are beautiful. Amazing city views If you walk all the up to the top. Closest parking is street parking in a residential neighborhood. There have been a few break-ins, so be careful.

Fisherman’s Wharf is a popular tourist spot with many souvenir shops, restaurants, piers, Alcatraz and Bay cruises, Ghirardelli Square , street artists etc.. even in summer it’s quite windy, so come prepared especially if you are planning on taking a boat cruise.

Riding the iconic cable car over the steep streets of San Francisco is a fun thing to do. Powell-Hyde cable car takes you to the popular fisherman’s wharf area.
