Panoramic Views
Moderate hike, most people start at Murrent-Schilthorn station and go clockwise to Allmendhubel and take the funicular down to Murren from there.
Hike features dramatic views of the mountains and meadows.
Scenic Trail
Scenic trail with roads looking like leading to the up-close gigantic alps. the hike is downhill from Murren to Gimmelwald is downhill and may be knee busting. You need not hike down all the way, many photo-opportunities exist just outside of Murren on this trail.
Up-close views of the famous trio
Murren offers up-close views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. One can view these from many locations, trails and hotels.
Up-close views of majestic alps
Most parts of the town provide up-close views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. Borthalten street provides a view of Murren town houses framing the alps. This photos is a little north of the listed GPS coordinates
Popular photo-spot
Come here on a clear day so that the mountain and glacier are clearly visible. Also, the stream dries up and doesn’t always flow. Best time may be early summer to capture with the stream.
Up-close View of the Waterfalls and Alps
One of the classic views of Lauterbrunnen. Good photo-spot are Hotel Jungfrau. You could keep walking closer to the waterfalls from there for several vantage points. You will reach the church. Parking lot of the church is also good spot.
Top View
One of the classic views of the Lauterbrunnen. The spot is right across Chalet Pironnet. As you walk towards waterfalls from airtime internet cafe, there’s a small path (Fuhren) which is on the left side and goes downhill. The photo-spot is on this path.
Fun and scenic train ride
The scenic train ride slowly climbs to the peak of the Brienzer Rothorn. Not only the ride is scenic and fun, you can also enjoy the panoramic views from the peak.
Classic View
Classic view of the Klein Fiescherhorn framed by Eiger and Mattenberg. In addition to the listed GPS coordinates, the view is visible from several locations like from Bort, Hotel Kirchbuhl, Hotel Gletscherblick etc.
