    One of the must see places for people visiting LA. Crowded and touristy, but take a walk to the end of the pier even if not interested in rides. Sunsets are amazing and the rides are lighted during the night.

    Secret swing above the city

    In addition to the panoramic city views and views of skyline , there’s a secret swing ( type in ‘Swing on top of Elysian Park’ in google maps for the exact location) . Park near the intersection of Angels Point Drive and Park Row Drive and Elysian Park and hike up the hill.

    Upclose view of Hollywood Sign

    One of the best spots to take up-close photos with Hollywood sign with out hike. Unfortunately driving uphill on Canyon Lake Drive from Lake Hollywood Park is prohibited and there is no parking at the photo spot. Instead just drive past the park going downhill and at the stop sign you will see a little spot to park and in the front will be a dirt trail leading up to the Hollywood sign. It’s not a long walk up the dirt trail only for few minutes.
