Iconic Tower
Tokyo tower is an Iconic tower and second tallest in Tokyo. You get the panoramic views of the city from top, They have a floor for restaurants and shops.
Nice Views
It offers 360 degree views of Tokyo city. If you go during sunset, you can watch the city light up. You can buy tickets in advance online.
Lights and Entertainment
Kabukicho is an entertainment district with lots of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs with lit up signs. Nice place to just walk around. It’s also a red light district with girls hustling male patrons.
Magical Place
The lines aren’t that long because of Covid. Some rides need standby pass from Disney App. Overall fun time and you can finish most rides in one day.
Instagram Spot
This is one of the top Instagram spots with Mt. Fuji. Come here on a clear day. Early morning is the best chance to see Mt. Fuji. Another Instagram spot Chureito Pagoda is also in Fujiyoshida.
Best Views
It is an iconic pagoda with views of Mt. Fuji. Either you got to climb up the hill or take 400 stairs. Make sure to check weather, even on a clear day you may not be able to see Mt. Fuji. Winter season has higher probability of seeing it.
Beautiful Temple
It is one of the top attractions in Kyoto. The golden temple is beautiful with a small pond and a garden. There’s a Japanese tea room in the garden where you can enjoy the traditional tea.
Classic View
One of the top photo-spots in Kyoto with view of the pagoda from the alley with cobble stone street. It really gets busy during the sunset and is the best time for photos.
Highlight of the Trip
This is one of my favourite attractions of the trip. The temple is beautiful and the hike up the hill is not that difficult with plenty of stopping points where you can rest and admire the views. Main attraction is the Torii Gates. It’s often crowded, go early to avoid the crowds.
Popular Tourist Spot
It is one of the popular spots and therefore is little touristy. The grove is beautiful with towering Bamboos on both sides and sun rays coming through them. However, path is small and often crowded though.
