Driving Info: You can get to Compatsch by car before 9 a.m and after 5 p.m. Between 9AM to 5PM driving is only allowed for arriving to or departing your hotel in the area .
You are not allowed to drive further since it is a protected nature area. Please follow the law and respect the nature.
There is a bus stop in Compatsch but the bus operates from 9.00 am only. So, for sunrise or sunset, make sure to use the parking area at Compatsch and walk here which is about 45-60 minutes walk.During the summer months, you also have the option to take the cable car from Ortisei to Mont Seuc which is very close to the spot. Cable car only goes during the day so it is not a good solution for sunrise and sunset.

One of the most scenic spot in South Tyrol. Easy to get there by Gondola. It is also a popular skiing spot in winter.
