Lake O’Hara is a picturesque lake in the alpine area of Yoho National Park surrounded by alpine peaks and forests and featuring several hiking trails.
The shuttle bus to the lake is operated only in summer months and is allotted by lottery system. Alternate access includes Lake O’Hara Lodge shuttle for the guests or a 11Km each way trail to the lake.
Hidden Gem
One of the most picturesque lakes. Unfortunately, the shuttle to the lake is only run in summer with a daily maximum and allotted on a lottery basis. Otherwise need to go through lodge shuttle or 22Km roundtrip hike.
There are many trails from the base offering amazing views.
