Unique mountain
Unique mountain with waterfalls in the foreground. It is little out of the way from other popular attractions along the south coast but could be combined with other attractions in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula.

Iconic Mountain
One of the most photographed mountain. There are many interesting photo-spots. The most popular one is by the waterfalls. Just a short walk from the parking lot brings you to this photo-spot. In summer you can also catch sun setting behind Kirkjufell. Another popular spot is by the small lake near-by which provides a good reflection. Depending on the tides, this lake may dry out. Before approaching the main area, there are couple of viewpoints by the road where you can photograph the mountain sideways.
