It is little further east from Reynisjara black sand beach and about 370KM from Reykjavik. It is recommended to at least spend couple of days on this drive on the southern coast to enjoy all the places.

Incredible place with a black beach filled with colourful icebergs of all sizes pushed to the shore from the glacier lagoon. Definitely worth driving to this place. It is an amazing experience.
It’s a long six hour drive from Reykjavik but Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach are popular and must see places in Iceland. It is located right by the Ring Road. Ice blocks of different sizes, shapes and colors drift ashore. Some of the ice pieces are blue in color ,some are pure white and clear. Both sunrise and sunset are popular times for photography.
This place is just awesome, black sand beach with tons of ice bergs which float from glacier lagoon and settle down here. It’s just out of this world.
