Kjerag is a 1100m high mountain sitting over Lysefjord, popular for the Kjeragbolten, a huge rock boulder suspended nearly 1000m high and wedged in the mountain crevasse. It is reachable via a strenuous 10Km loop hike.

It is such a unique photo-spot on a rock hanging at 400m in the air. The hike is steep and difficult. Nice hiking shoes are required. Wear warm clothing even in Summer. When it is raining, hike and the rock could be slippery.
Imagine sitting on a suspended rock, 1000 ft. above the fjord. It is just incredible. Total hike is about 10Kms and is a difficult hike with chains (provided) over slippery granite rock. Takes about 5-6Hrs round trip. It is only open in summer and even in summer be prepared for all kinds of weather.
