Milford Foreshore Walk is a 0.6 mile short walk, near the Carpark and visitor terminals, along the sandy foreshore of the Milford Sound leading to one of the popular photo-spots of the Milford Sound Lookout. From the lookout you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Milford sound and the fabulous Mitre Peak. While early morning is the best time to catch the reflections of Mitre Peak in the shore water, sunset is a popular time as well where sunsets behind the Mitre Peak.
