Giraffe Manor is a 1930s manor house set in 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of indigenous forest in the Langata suburb of Nairobi. Often referred to as one of the most instagrammed properties in the world, it features a resident herd of endangered giraffes.
Good experience
It’s a bucketlist experience for many..you need to book months in advance. The cheapest room is about $2000/night. If you check-in in the evening, you just barely have a bowl or two to feed the giraffes in the morning for breakfast. Giraffes leave at their will once they have had enough food and there are many guests trying to feed them
Amazing Experience
It was an amazing experience and well worth the premium. The staff, food, accommodation and the giraffes – everything is top notch. You will get couple of opportunities to feed the Giraffes, during the breakfast and during the afternoon tea. There is a retreat next door and a spa. If you need more time with giraffes, there’s a giraffe center close-by.
