Your media contributions to BestViews are valuable and encourage you to share them with the BestViews community. To help us keep BestViews a safe and trustworthy source for information and advice, we ask that you abide by BestViews Content Guidelines and the following rules for photo and video submissions in listing reviews, forums, photo-feed media submissions and profile pictures.

Correct and Relevant: Any posted media, other than profile and wall picture, should be that of an attraction or highlight the View or photo-worthiness of a place. For example, a photo submitted for a restaurant listing showing only food served at the restaurant will be deleted. Submissions must relate directly to the property or place to which it is submitted, so please make sure you are submitting your content to the correct listing. 

Personal Experience: Our community wants to hear about your firsthand personal experience. No images or videos that infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other legal property right should be posted. You may only media for which you hold all intellectual property rights. In other words, if you submit a photo or video to us, you must own all rights to such media or you must have the authorization of the person who does own those rights.

Family Friendly: We don’t allow media that is pornographic, violent, illegal or vulgar and reject photos that include graphic violence or contain other content that is not appropriate for our community.

Respectful of Privacy and Non-Commercial: We respect your privacy and privacy of others as well. Photos and videos taken where photography is prohibited will not be allowed. Photos showing other people or staff will be removed upon request.

Quality: Although photos and media could be submitted in all aspect ratios, square images or media display best across the site including pop-up and photo-feed sections. Other guidance for submitted media include:

• Photos and Videos shouldn’t exceed 10MB in size
• Maximum of three media files per Review
• Photos and Videos should be clear and easy to view and should highlight the Views of the place or attraction
• Uploaded files shouldn’t be contaminated or infected with a virus or any other corruption that is either intended to damage or may result in damage to our computers and systems and/or those using it.
