Unique Experience
It is totally an unique and memorable experience. The lodge itself is small but interior is well designed. It is well equipped and clean. There’s a hot tub and a grill outside. The views are just amazing – sunsets and the experience of sleeping under the stars.
Beautiful and Busy in Summer
The closest city is Stavanger. It is about 7 Hours drive from Oslo. There are flights and trains as well. The hike is moderate and views are fantastic.
Must Do
It is one of the must do hikes in Norway. The new start point cuts down the hike little bit but it is still a difficult hike and the views are just amazing. In summer it is busy and you may have to wait for you turn to walk over it.
Best View
One of the best views in the area. In early summer the cabins are covered with green grass with snow capped mountains in the backdrop.
Spectacular
One of the most spectacular spots in the Lofoten Islands. Beautiful both in winter and summer. There is a small island between the bridges, from there you can get a panoramic side view with several peaks in the backdrop.
Bucketlist Place
It is little further east from Reynisjara black sand beach and about 370KM from Reykjavik. It is recommended to at least spend couple of days on this drive on the southern coast to enjoy all the places.
Diamond beach and the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon are just amazing with several ice blocks of different shapes and sizes.
Stunning Place
It is a stunning place but very winding. The waves are huge and every other wave seems bigger than the last one. Be careful not to get closer to the water.
Must See
One of the popular waterfalls in Iceland and is easily accessible. Looks amazing both in summer and in winter. Water is very cold. The stairs which tale you over the waterfalls are steep and difficult. Must be in good shape to go to the top but waterfall itself is just easy walk from the parking lot.
