Located in the Fatehpur Sikri Fort, Panch Mahal is a five level building built of red sandstone with carved columns and pillars and a top floor supporting a chhattri (Pavilion).
The Pond in front of the Panch Mahal is called Anup Talao (Anup Talab) where Tansen is said hold musical concerts.

Panch Mahal is one of the top attractions in Fatehpur Sikri with five story buliding supported by carved columns and pillars. Columns originally had jaali (screens) between them for queens and princesses to enjoy the views of the fort with cool breeze coming in.
Anup Talao is the pond in front of the Panch Mahal. It is supposed to the place where Tansen performed music concerts.
