Lake Powell is home to many side creeks with slot or narrow canyons. Some of the slot canyons such as Antelope Canyon, Navajo Canyon are accessible by relatively larger boats. Much narrower ones include Labyrinth Canyon, Face Canyon etc. which may be accessed by kayaks, paddle boats or other personal water boats only and in addition may include some hiking to reach the mouth.

Slot canyon boat or kayak ride is one of the fun activities to do on Lake Powell. Boat tours include canyons which can take in bigger boats such as Antelope Canyon, Navajo Canyon while to get to even narrower, slot canyons such as Face Canyon, Labyrinth Canyon one would need to go rent a paddle boat or a kayak. How far you can go down the slot canyons depend on water level.
