Columbia Icefield is one of the largest icefields in the world and is home to six glaciers, with three of them visible from the parkway. Athabasca Glacier is one of the most accessible glaciers, located just walking distance from the parkway.

Located in the Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, Banff National Park is the Canada’s oldest national park and encompasses over 6641 Sq. Kms of mountainous terrain with many glacier lakes, icefields, forests and alpine landscapes. Popular attractions include Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, Peyto Lake etc.
